The materials chosen for this space had to reflect the aesthetic sensibilities of its occupants. The playful mixture of varied-sized marble tiles lends their subtle pattern, while black granite surfaces bring contrast to this rich, yet neutral palette. The antique glazing on the customized cabinetry brings warmth and helps ground the space, while crystal pulls, and beveled mirror glass adds sparkle. A decision was made to exclude artwork from the walls so as not to compete with the beauty of the textured wallpaper.

A frameless glass shower sans threshold gives this enclosure a clean, and uncluttered look. The multiple water sources provide a variety of soothing and relaxing sprays to help start the day.
Polished nickel fixtures elevate the feeling of luxury. The Black Forest granite provides the perfect backdrop, while the textured wallcovering delivers artistic expression.
Newtown Square Interior Design sourced elegant outdoor furnishings for this always-on-the-go family. Choosing a tranquil color palette assists in creating a relaxing atmosphere after a hard day's work and provides a soft place for everyone to land.
Hard-working UV and soil-resistant fabrics were top priority. The seating fabrics needed to be forgiving of accidental food and drink spills, as well as color-fast from the summer's sun. The powder-coated finish and aluminum frames add to the furniture's durability. While classic styling contributes to the overall feeling of luxe.
Color impacts our mood and how we perceive our surroundings. It can define the edges of a room, make a surface recede or expand, can be tranquil and calm, or be vibrant and exciting. Color is essential and paint is one of the least expensive ways of transforming your interior.
When considering color selections, keep in mind what the color is saying about the space. Is it a closed room that conceals a particular setting, or does it house a prized collection? In so many of today's homes, the open-concept floor plan presents the challenge of where to start with one color and begin with another.
Newtown Square Interior Design can assist you in choosing the color and finish selections that best suit your home including water-based, eco-friendly Low VOC options. Our in-home consultations make paint selections easier than ever.
Newtown Square Interior Design has thoughtfully curated a portfolio of calming, neutral paint colors, rich in hues inspired by nature. The nuanced palette offers the homeowner a relaxing and tranquil setting to unplug and unwind. The colors strive to create harmony between the flex-space home office and home.

Does your home look like every third house in your neighborhood? Is it simply a mirror image of the house next door? By using color, texture, lighting, and appropriate plants, you can enhance the appearance of your home.
Newtown Square Interior Design can help your house stand out from the crowd whether it is your forever home or investment property.
Do visitors have a hard time finding your front door? Is it welcoming and inviting? Are the walkways overgrown, poorly lit, and weeds taking over? Have your guests grown used to entering your house by the garage door?
Newtown Square Interior Design can help you choose the right door style and color and dress up your entrance and walkway with appropriate planters, hardscaping materials, and exterior lighting – giving your house sought-after curb appeal.
There are advantages to having native plants in your garden. Native plants require little to no fertilizers and pesticides as they have adapted to thrive in your area and are naturally resistant to garden pests. Also, they require less watering - relying on the natural amounts of rainfall in your locale. Paired with natural hardscaping material, native plantings are an eco-friendly way to garden and surround your home with beauty.
Newtown Square Interior Design can outfit your home to minimize your environmental impact. Drapery, upholstery, and bedding fabrics can be sourced from organic fibers and textiles – cotton, flax, hemp, and wool while avoiding PFCs and synthetic fibers derived from fossil fuels.
The use of renewable flooring materials such as bamboo (2-3 times stronger than oak), and natural fiber rugs and carpets can replace current industry standards of chemically-treated products that include formaldehyde and benzene.
Walls, ceilings, and trim can be finished with water-based Low or Zero VOC paints, varnishes, and lacquers. Replacing the traditional incandescent bulb with LED and CFL (compact fluorescent lamps) bulbs use far less energy, has a longer lifespan, and generates considerably less heat.
Energy-conserving washing machines, toilets, shower fixtures that use less water, and programmable thermostats contribute to the eco-savvy, energy-efficient home, while not sacrificing style and design in your selection of finishes.
Newtown Square Interior Design's commitment to giving back to the community is the involvement of reutilizing no longer needed, gently used household furnishings to local organizations that assist homeless individuals in transitioning back into the community.
Newtown Square Interior Design utilizes local artisans and craftsmen to complete your interior. Sourcing from painters, muralists, ceramicists, weavers, cabinet makers, and metal workers, we can achieve the customized, one-of-a-kind look you desire.
When we buy handmade objects, we support artisans and craftsmen both financially and spiritually. Their pieces nurture our aesthetics and bring a warmth and richness that is absent in mass-produced, factory-made, anonymous locales. Wood, wool, clay, hemp, and silica are the fundamental materials in the hands of skilled craftsmen.
Newtown Square Interior Design is pleased to facilitate this collaborative effort so you may have a cherished piece in your home. Sourcing from local and regional craftsmen is a rich and rewarding experience for artists and homeowners alike.

The richness of craft and materials employed by artists in everyday objects can be traced directly to nature - earth, fire, and water. Whether it is a Raku-fired bowl, an intricately woven basket, a hand-loomed textile of cotton, flax, or wool, or a hand-made chair of birch, the elements of these objects begin with nature. The artisan’s skills are passed on through generations.
Steve has been a huge help to us, both in our longtime home of 30 years, and the home we bought last year. We really appreciate the way he approaches a project -- asking the right questions and listening to our needs and preferences. Steve is mindful of our budget and he's very patient when we need more time to think about something. Best of all, he's not offended if we send him "back to the drawing board" to look for different options. We've really come to rely on his expertise.
Nancy H – Malvern, PA
Steve has worked with me on updating my kitchen, bedroom, and family room. He listens to my ideas, willingly adopts them if he agrees, and if not, suggests alternatives to my liking. I count on him to keep my home looking fresh without breaking the bank. I highly recommend Steve to those interested in working with a talented, really nice guy.
Nancy T – Worcester, PA
This was our first time using a design professional and we couldn't be happier. Steve listened carefully to our ideas and came back with a proposal that was even better than we hoped for. When particular items (like a chandelier) were not to our taste or too pricey for what we were trying to accomplish, Steve was receptive to our feedback and flexible in finding new and more appealing options. Steve was happy to work on our schedule and a pace we were comfortable with. He recommended excellent subcontractors. We highly recommend Steve.

Stephen Dabrowski is absolutely wonderful to work with when remodeling. He helped me with my kitchen, office/sitting room, my dining area, living room, and my bedroom. I just love walking into my house. It is so beautiful from all that he did! He is prompt on his appointments, brings samples, and has fabulous ideas. I recommend him to my friends and family. He was considerate of my budget, too.
Gail M - Downingtown, PA
I hired Steve to help me with a complete remodeling of my hall bathroom. We immediately clicked! I did have a general idea of what I wanted to do, but he was able to help me develop the project into an unbelievably gorgeous bathroom! Steve really loves what he does, always takes extra special care, and sees all the work to its completion. He was exactly what I needed to get my project done!
Carol R – Newtown Square, PA
We recently renovated our kitchen. This is the third project in which we used Steve Dabrowski's services. Steve is professional, creative, and extremely easy to work with. He has many resources and is generous with his time. Steve also oversaw the entire project to make sure of its outcome. We love our kitchen.
Ron S - Downingtown, PA
I originally hired Steve to help me pick out paint colors for our master bedroom. During our initial meeting, I realized he was the designer for me. He took the time to hear my ideas and help me narrow down the direction I wanted to go. It has been over a year since our first meeting and he and I are slowly redecorating our entire home with the look I have always wanted. He is always on time for appointments, responsive to my calls and questions, comes prepared, and always has wonderful ideas! He is making our home look like a designer home while being considerate of our budget. I was lucky to find him!
Jennifer L – Media, PA
Steve redesigned two bathrooms for our 1950s home. He is very talented at designing an update that is in keeping with the original architecture of the home. Steve is very pleasant to work with, too!
Amy B – Wilmington, DE
We hired Steve to help plan and design a complete living space for my handicapped mother. He developed a workable floor plan for my mother who is currently wheelchair-bound. He created a barrier-free apartment that allows her to move about freely but kept it aesthetically pleasing and functional for our current and long-term use. Steve took the basement from bare cinderblock walls to a completely polished gorgeous luxury apartment with all of the necessary components for her independence. I would strongly recommend him for your next design project. You won't be disappointed! Feel free to contact me if you want any more information about this project
